River Rafting in Kullu - Shimla

The Manali Adventure Activity offers river rafting in Sissu, Kullu's best-kept secret in the Lahaul Valley, near Manali. We offer river rafting along the beautiful Beas (Chandra/Chandrabhaga) River, where river rafting will take you on rapids that are at times heart-stopping with Class II–III (i.e. on the scale of easy to very difficult). Plus, you will see the most astonishing views of the beautiful Himalayan vistas. We cater to both first-timers and experienced paddlers alike. All trips use only qualified instructors and have safety gear that is of the highest quality (helmets and life jackets are provided) to ensure safety for 12 to 60-year-olds. (If you are older than 60, we suggest you are not in poor health.)

Rafting sessions normally take 1 - 2 hours, depending on the stretch of river you pick. You will paddle 7 to 14 km in a rafting session. The river flow and weather conditions are good for rafting the river mostly between March - June, and between September - December.
